LeGarrette Blount‘s NFL Draft status plummeted following Oregon’s season-opening loss to Boise State, after which Blount punched Boise State’s Byron Hout in the face. Blount drew unwanted attention from the incident, a long suspension and was undrafted in April. John Glennon of The Tennesseean talked to Blount about the punch.

    Asked if he was looking at this offseason as a chance to bounce back from the incident in college, Blount said, “Yeah, definitely. There was a whole bunch of negative publicity, and it hurt my draft chances as far as getting drafted. But I’ll try to do my best to win a spot.”
